Kathrine's Biography
Kathrine Burke is a dedicated Holistic Nutrition Practitioner and educator, currently attending Oakwood University to achieve her Didactic Verification Statement—a critical step toward her Master’s in Public Health and upcoming Dietetic Internship, set to begin in July 2025. As the CEO of Wild Roses Nutrition LLC, Kathrine combines her personal experiences and professional expertise to support clients, from adolescents to adults, in achieving optimal health, wellness, and food freedom. She specializes in personalized meal planning, mindful nutrition, and wellness coaching, focusing on sustainable and joyful transformations.
During her service in the United States Air Force, Kathrine worked in Security Forces and studied Criminal Justice, where her interest in nutrition security took root. She constantly explores connections between nutrition and criminal justice, driven by a belief that access to nutritious food is a fundamental right that impacts public safety and community health. Her service experiences and a transformative moment following gallbladder surgery in 2018 inspired her passion for nutrition and holistic health.
Rooted in her love for nature and science—nurtured in her childhood in Alaska—Kathrine’s approach is also informed by her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science. Her enthusiasm for educating others is evident as she helps individuals understand the importance of nutrition and guides them in finding essential resources to support their well-being.
Kathrine’s mission is to empower individuals, particularly prediabetics, busy moms, and active adults, by providing strategies for building energy, managing stress, and creating lifelong wellness.
